A Q&A with Miguel Tuiran

Miguel Tuiran works in Pipefy’s Curitiba office as a Communication Designer on the Design team.

What brought you to Pipefy? I was already in the startup environment in Curitiba and had heard of Pipefy. I started following Pipefy and I liked how they were developing the product. I also had a friend who started working at Pipefy who was saying how it was a great experience.

What were you doing before this? I was a student at University of Curitiba finishing my degree, working and studying at the same time.

Tell me something unique about your country: I’m from Valencia, Venezuela, an industrial city. It’s the second most important industrial city in the country, surrounded by mountains.

What’s your favorite Venezuelan cuisine? Arepas: they are cornmeal pockets often stuffed with savory fillings like shredded beef, black beans and fresh cheese. Everybody who tries it loves it.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Teleportation. I don’t need to live forever; I just need to arrive quickly.

What’s your favorite childhood movie? “The Terminator.” Not really a kid’s movie, but it was my favorite.

Name something on your bucket list: Skydiving!

What do you hope to accomplish at Pipefy in the next year? I want to move to a Product Designer role and I am working toward that now.
