Terms for Artificial Intelligence Usage
This Addendum is an integral part of the Pipefy software Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) and regulates your access to and your usage of the Beta Artificial Intelligence functionality (“Pipefy AI”). Everything that is not expressly contrary to the Terms of Use remains unchanged.
By using Pipefy AI, you agree to the below terms:
1. Pipefy may provide certain non-essential functionalities and capabilities as part of the Solutions that utilize artificial intelligence, machine learning, or similar technologies (“Pipefy AI”). These functionalities may be developed by Pipefy and/or third-party providers of Pipefy, as per the Pipefy Privacy Policy. You agree that Pipefy may use sub-processors to provide Pipefy AI functionalities to you. Pipefy and its licensors exclusively hold all rights, titles, and interests in Pipefy AI, including all associated intellectual property rights.
2. In cases where your Input contains Personal Information (as defined in the Data Processing Attachment), you authorize Pipefy and its third-party providers to process such Personal Information for the purpose of providing Pipefy AI functionalities and Output information. By using Pipefy AI, you grant Pipefy and its third-party providers the necessary rights to process your AI Content for the purpose of providing you with Pipefy AI functionalities.
3. AI Content. As a user of Pipefy AI, you may have the option to provide User Content for use in Pipefy AI ('Input') and receive results generated and returned by Pipefy AI based on the Input ('Output'), collectively referred to as 'AI Content.' When using Pipefy AI, between the parties and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you retain ownership of AI Content. However, you are solely responsible for your AI Content (except to the extent that it is distributed to third-parties by Pipefy through its software), including compliance with applicable laws and the Agreement.
4. You may not use Pipefy AI features or Output information to: (a) develop baseline models or other large-scale models that compete with Pipefy AI, (b) deceive anyone into believing that Output was solely generated by humans, (c) violate any technical documentation, usage guidelines, or parameters, (d) make automated decisions that could have an adverse impact on individual rights without proper human oversight, or (e) infringe, violate, or misappropriate any of our rights or third-party rights.
5. The AI functionality is an early access version (“Beta”) and when charged for, any discounts or bonuses (“special pricing conditions”) offered for the initial use of Pipefy AI services or any specific modules thereof do not bind Pipefy to maintain such conditions throughout the Agreement term and/or for other modules provided.
6. The AI services are provided "as is," and Pipefy makes no warranties regarding the results obtained from using AI features or the accuracy or suitability of any information (including materials, designs, workflows/processes, codes, or other data) obtained through AI features. You acknowledge that all information obtained through Pipefy AI features is your sole responsibility. You should not rely on output statements or designs, workflows/processes, or output codes without independently verifying their accuracy and suitability for your specific needs. No information, suggestion, or output from Pipefy or through AI features will create any warranty not explicitly stated in this agreement. Output may not always be accurate. You should not rely on Output from our Services as a sole source of truth or factual information, or as a substitute for professional advice.
7. Pipefy may update this Addendum or its AI Beta Services from time to time. For example, as due to: Changes to the law or regulatory requirements. Security or safety reasons. Circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Changes we make in the usual course of developing our Services. To adapt to new technologies. We will give you at least 30 days advance notice of changes to these Terms that materially adversely impact you either via email or an in-product notification. All other changes will be effective as soon as we post them to our website. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using our Services.
8. Delay in Enforcing These Addendum. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. Except as provided in the dispute resolution section above, if any portion of this Addendum is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that portion will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and it will not affect the enforceability of any other terms.
