A Q&A with Rodrigo García

Rodrigo García works in Pipefy’s Curitiba office as a Front-end Developer on the Growth team.

What brought you to Pipefy? I had heard about the company and knew that it had true potential to grow. I started more than two years ago when there were only 50 employees. After continuing to research Pipefy and seeing what a great place it was to work, I applied.

What were you doing before this? I was completing my academic exchange in Rio De Janeiro. I was working with AIESEC [an international, student-run, non-profit that operates as a hybrid between a business and a student org]. I used to volunteer in my hometown.

Tell me something unique about your country: I’m from Aguascalientes, right in the middle of Mexico. It is known as the manufacturing center of Mexico and has a large tourist attraction called Feria Nacional de San Marcos, a fair held in honor of Saint Mark, the patron and protector of Aguascalientes. The celebration starts in April and lasts for three weeks.

What’s your favorite Mexican cuisine? Pozole, I really miss it.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Teleportation. I would use it so I can visit my family more.

What’s your favorite childhood movie? “Matilda.” I remember always wanting to watch it over and over again.

Name something on your bucket list: I want to visit the Perito Moreno Glacier located in the Los Glaciares National Park in southwest Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. I’ve been to Argentina before, but I wasn’t able to see it when I visited.

What do you hope to accomplish at Pipefy in the next year? I hope to bring more users to the company, and to get to know users better so I can study their behavior.
