More than half of Hospital Pequeno Príncipe’s budget comes from donations, which makes the New Projects department a critical pillar of the hospital’s clinical operation. Until 2016, that department ran on an outdated CRM and processes held together by spreadsheets, email, and paper. Each donor’s history lived inside the inbox of whoever owned the account. When that person went on vacation or moved into a new role, the relationship with the investor went with them.

As the donor base expanded, the manual model became the ceiling of the operation. Sales pipeline, accounts receivable, and investor onboarding all lived in separate tools that did not talk to each other.
